    Hours: Mon.,Tues., Wed., & Fri., 8:30am-5:30pm & Wed., 10am-6pm

    Responsibilities

    The Third Party Billing Representative will be responsible for, but not limited to:

     

    1. Document and resolve Third Party issues from private pay customers

    2. Communicate with other departments regarding billing issues or patient questions

    3. Process daily on-line claims

    4. Research and resubmit daily rejection claims

    5. Consult with Third Party Billing Manager and Pharmacy Manager on any problems occurring due to pharmacy procedure

    6. Submit Prior Authorizations

    7. Process refills

    8. Follow up with facilities on pending prior authorizations

    9. Maintain, Reconcile and Update Low Income Subsidies

    Qualifications

    Education:

    High School Diploma or equivalent

     

    Professional Experience:

    • Current Pharmacy Technician registration and/or PTCB license
    • Experience in long term care or retail pharmacy environment
    • 1-3 yeas of Third Party Billing experience
    • Experience in Frameworks, a definite plus
    • Communication, problem solving and organizational skills a must
    • Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and meet deadlines
    • Typing, computer and multi-tasking skills are a must
    • Strong customer service skills
